Why Noeth?
Named after Emmy Noether — the mathematician who solved the hardest problems of her era while the room kept looking the other way.
Emmy Noether (1882–1935) was a German mathematician who changed the course of modern physics and algebra. Her theorem — Noether's theorem — proved that every symmetry in nature corresponds to a conservation law. It is considered one of the most beautiful and important results in all of mathematics. Einstein called her "the most significant creative mathematical genius thus far produced."
She was also almost entirely overlooked for most of her career. She was barred from lecturing at Göttingen because she was a woman. When she was finally allowed to teach, it was under a male colleague's name. She worked without a salary for years. She solved problems others couldn't even properly state — and did it quietly, without recognition, in the background.
That's the energy behind this tool. Noeth works in the background. It doesn't take the credit. It sees the answer before you do and puts you in a position to deliver it. Like Emmy Noether, it operates at a level most people in the room can't see — and that's exactly the point.
The name is a nod, not a claim. We just think the world deserved to know her name a lot sooner.
